OUR SERVICES
HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING
Horizontal Directional Drilling is a clean and trenchless method for utility installation with minimal ground disturbance. You might consider Horizontal Directional Drilling if you need to install utilities or drainage:
* Under existing infrastructure(road/driveway/shop)
* Up to a new build on an established lot
* Through an area with excessive trees/shrubs
* In an area with no access for large excavating equipment eg. steep embankment
Or to:
*Replace aerial hydro lines that are being impeded by maturing trees

PLOWING
Plowing is a method that uses a blade and intense vibration to install cables underground. This is a more economical option when you have a smaller line to install and want to avoid a trench.

The plowing application is best if the ground conditions are soft, but in order for it to be considered the path of installation must be clear (no existing driveways or large excessive trees). The last thing that may determine whether plowing is an option is the installation depth

Excavation
Although our aim with Directional Drilling is to avoid extensive excavation, most of our jobs do require some excavation. Whether existing utilities need to be daylit, a trench needs to be dug, or a catch basin installed, Precision has the equipment needed to execute from start to finish.
Our Operators have the experience to dig safely around existing utilities. Our team will dig carefully whether by machine or by hand to ensure nothing is damaged.

Utility Locating
When you need to complete a project, whether it's a pool installation or digging posts for a new fence, you will need to know what's in the ground.
You should always start by contacting Ontario One Call for locates, however Ontario One Call will only locate on public property.
If you have private utilities on your property you need located prior to digging, not only can our team come out and locate them, but we can also bring the required equipment to spot for you if necessary.

Hydro Evacuation:
When there are existing utilities in the path of installation, they need to be "daylit"(visible) while we are drilling.
Some utilities we can daylight using a machine or hand dig method, however, some infrastructure we cannot chance digging around - this is when the hydro-vac comes into play.
The ground is sprayed with high pressured water, creating a mud slurry which is then vacuumed up by the hydro-vac equipment. This is continued until the infrastructure is visible.

Restoration
The goal behind drilling is that your property is left looking like it did before we arrived. Whether its raking, planting grass seed, or rebuilding a flowerbed that we had to disturb for connection purposes. We strive to leave all of our jobsites in the best condition possible after we have completed the work.
